About Junges Engagement (JE)

Have you just completed your voluntary service in development policy, for example with “weltwärts“ and would you like to continue to get involved in development policy? The “Junges Engagement”, JE for short, (English: Young Commitment) at “Bildung trifft Entwicklung“ offers you numerous opportunities to implement your ideas for social change!

Actions of the “Junges Engagement“ want to change the world - be it with flash mobs, workshops, street theater or video shoots. Whether it is about social inequality, racism, sexism or climate protection, the actions of the “Junges Engagement“ create awareness in society. They motivate people to rethink and encourage them to act for a fairer and more sustainable world. They contribute creatively to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

Who can take part?

The “Junges Engagement“ is primarily aimed for returning international volunteers from voluntary services such as “weltwärts“ or “kulturweit“. However, anyone who is interested in development policy issues or who you would like to motivate to do so can take part. You can take part in “Junges Engagement“ anywhere in Germany or in individual cases in other EU countries.

At “Junges Engagement“ you will get to know many other young people who will work with you for a better world. Network with them in order to develop ideas and concepts for effective actions together.

What kind of support do you get from JE?
