The concept of Global Learning
Global Learning is an educational concept that underlies all program lines of “Bildung trifft Entwicklung“. It is understood as an educational response to the demands that we must face due to the globalization of all life processes.
The starting point was the realization that development is not the sole responsibility of the so-called developing countries or the Global South. Rather, the way of life in the industrialized countries of the Global North must also change to be sustainable and fit for the future. The goal of global learning is to find common ways to keep our world worth living in. It provides answers to the question “What does this have to do with me?” and shows ways to actively work for a fairer world.
